be glad, alot of effort done :D
i am so tired despite i slept like 9 hours last night. :/ slept at 2am and woke up at 11am.
oh, i just wanted to post this for fun
'spicy shrimp fried with long beans and potatoes' fried rice
yummy lunch :D
yesterday's events:
met up with jg to go to PSA building at Alexandra Road. we wanted to collect free vouchers to Taiwan so we went to the Taiwan Representative Office in Singapore (at PSA building). when we arrived, the person told us that we needed to head down to the Tourism Board at Shenton Way instead. wasted trip there because of wrong info from sm.
since we still had time before jg needs to go to work, i brought her to Hort Park!! she has never been there before.
anyw, i had been planning to go back to Hort Park since the last time i went there together with the photography club. and because i wanted to go to the Henderson Waves. :)
we walked like 3 bus stops from PSA building there.
then
we could also see the Alexandra Arch
and that is the Forest Walk
damn excited for me, coz thought that the Henderson Waves damn near.
wait till i tell you how far i walked the entire journey :/
jg and the snowman.
and this snowman is like really fragile.
if you had enough strength, i think can punch it through.
but i dont suggest to. :P
some fish tank at the place
dunno what the hell is this
another small fish tank,..... is it even called a tank?
even Santa has came to play
recycling efforts.... plant in a vodka bottle
bloody ugly can. 2 christmas hats. :/
jg looking intensely at the seeds
i really like this photo
jg enjoying the view :)
i was praying that it wouldnt rain since it was raining damn heavily in the early morning.
sadly, it rained heavily for awhile. but luckily the both of us brought umbrellas.
then jg left and went to work, so it was time for me to go find the Henderson Waves!!!
first up, the Alexandra Arch
and the dark clouds still looms over the sky :/
its quite a short bridge and it connects to the Forest Walk.
and the place is quite high from ground level
bird house
okay, seriously speaking.
it is a bloody long trail la. should have worn proper footwear. slippers are no no if you want to go there.
i was so afraid that it would rain again, but luckily it didnt. :)
oh, saw this spider. it looked as if it is going to attack me :/ snap and run... lol
bloody trail. i think i walked like 30 min before i reached Hilltop Walk.
WTH?!!!?? not even close to Henderson Waves.
1st time here. haiz.
it is another long walk :/
see the map. (snapped this when i arrived at Henderson Waves)
i think i walked from another 20 min lo.
then finally i saw hope!
bottom of the Henderson Waves
took this from another angle. it goes a long way eh. .... means more walking. ..... ... :/
on the Waves.
pretty cool place. and the flooring is engraved with "____metres above sea level".. it tells you how high are you. nice.
some signs
the Waves, but was covered by trees.... freaking tall
then, i continued my journey
and i thought i was lost for a moment. :/ so tired already, still can be lost
really wanted to cab back home coz it was bloody humid after the rain.
better view..
anyw, i found my way out and took a bus by to Vivo City. decided not to go home coz still have to meet tr at Little India.
so, meanwhile at Vivo City, more photos
Christmas tree which i think is not very nice. lol
it rained for a little while at here, thus there were no one in the mini pool
Marche,.... celebrated my 18th birthday here with S8 gang.
a lot of people were taking photos with it, so i thought i snap it too.
mother and daughter sitting on the same bench as me. they were eating strawberries and bananas.
took this photo in monochrome.
Resort World Sentosa in the backgroud
waiting for Universal Studios to be opened :D
monorail to Sentosa
anyw, wasted more time at Vivo before heading down to meet tr at Litte India. that was like 2 hours looking at people and scenery. - i wont even call it scenery. what is the appropriate word? hmm..... nvm about that
and off to Little India.
went to a shop that tr and i previously went. tr went to do threading while i did henna!
check it out yo.
finally completed! it is 6 bucks which i think okay la.
while waiting for it to dry....
lol
after that, we walked down Serangoon Road and headed to Mustafa
a Hindu temple which i thought was the first one in Singapore.
but after googling which it wikied for me, .. the first Hindu temple in Singapore is located in Chinatown.
after walking for 10min, ta-dah
things sold in there are slightly cheaper, and they have a whole range of stuff.
we walked around but didnt buy anything. anyw, partly because i needed my henna to dry, we ate dinner at 9pm.
chicken and mutton curry
plus chapati .
1st time trying this.. nice.... compared to roti prata, this is not oily at all
reached home at 10.30pm after this tiring day, but was forced by my mother to help her do her work. :/ - send out greeting cards which includes stamping her company's chop, paste the address on every envelop, paste the stamp, fold the greeting card and slot it in, and seal the envelop. and guess what.... 200 odd envelops okay!!! now u know why i slept at 2 am.
i dont understand why my mother couldnt ask my brother to do it when he reached home earlier than i did. :/
anyw, last photo.
alright, bye bye.
